USMNT stars Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie shone for Milan and Juventus on Sunday and the ex-Chelsea winger helped the Rossoneri overtake their rivals in the Serie A table.

Pulisic scored his 10th goal this season in Milan’s 1-0 win over Empoli at San Siro on Sunday and it was a special strike because it helped the Rossoneri to overtake Juventus in second place in the Serie A table.

His compatriot Weston McKennie was just as good as he contributed to Juventus’ 2-2 draw in Turin against Atalanta with two assists.

McKennie’s performance was particularly impressive because the ex-Leeds loanee played with a brace to protect his shoulder after suffering an injury two weeks ago in a home game against Frosinone.

Juventus have only won one Serie A match in the last seven, conceding 11 goals. They conceded two goals in each of the last four matches for the first time in the Massimiliano Allegri era.

Juventus are now seven points above fourth-placed Bologna.
