Jose Mourinho is among the candidates Paris Saint-Germain are looking at with Mauricio Pochettino expected to depart the club soon, according to reports in the UK.

PSG are likely to change their manager despite winning the title following their disappointing exit to eventual winners Real Madrid in the last-16.

Ex-Los Blancos chief Zinedine Zidane has long-been considered the French club’s No.1 target but there has so far been no confirmation the former Juventus midfielder is interested.

And The Telegraph report PSG have added Mourinho to their list of potential candidates.

The report suggests Mourinho’s close relationship with new PSG sporting director Luis Campos has seen the reigning Ligue 1 champions revive their interest.

Zidane, according to the report, could looking to replace Didier Deschamps when he leaves his post as manager of France.

Mourinho was dismissed from his last three roles, at Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, before taking over at Roma in the summer and immediately ending their 14-year trophy drought.

He led the club to success in the Europa Conference League, the fourth European trophy trophy of his managerial career.
