PSG have pounced on Joaquín Correa and are reportedly willing to offer Pablo Sarabia plus cash to Lazio.

The Argentinean striker has attracted interest from Arsenal and PSG, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the Ligue 1 giants have taken concrete steps to sign the 26-year-old.

Lazio value Correa at €45m and PSG want to lower his price tag by adding Sarabia in a player-plus-cash swap deal.

The Serie A side have put talks on hold, but are reportedly considering including a player in the deal.

Il Corriere dello Sport reported earlier this month that Arsenal had made an opening bid in the region of €20m to sign Correa. Not enough for the Biancocelesti.

New Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri needs several new signings to adapt the current Lazio squad to his idea of football.

Simone Inzaghi’s favourite system is a 3-5-2, while Sarri prefers a four-man defence and has used both €4-3-3- and 4-3-1-2 formations during his career.
