According to multiple reports in Italy, Arsenal have made an opening bid to sign Lazio striker Joaquín Correa.
The 26-year-old scored 11 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions with the Biancocelesti in 2020-21 and his contract at the Stadio Olimpico expires in 2024.
According to multiple reports in Italy, including Il Messaggero and La Repubblica, the Biancocelesti have received an opening €20m bid from Arsenal, with the Gunners on the lookout for a striker in the summer.
According to LaLazioSiamoNoi, Everton are also interested in signing the Argentinean forward, but Lazio want at least €35m to sell him.
However, Il Messaggero reports new Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri requested the club not to sell their top players in the summer transfer window and Correa is among those Sarri wants to keep at the Stadio Olimpico.
Correa, a product of River Plate academy, joinedthe Biancocelesti from Sevilla in a €15m deal in 2018.
He has two goals in five appearances with the Argentinean national team.
