The situation between Dusan Vlahovic and Juventus continues to be sticky, as the Serbian continues to struggle for form in front of goal in what has been a nightmare start to 2023.

The Serbian international has only registered four goals in all competitions since the start of the calendar year, and only two of those have come in Serie A. Hardly what Juventus had expected after shelling out €80 million to secure his services from Fiorentina 18 months ago.

However, according to Calciomercato, Vlahovic’s lack of goalscoring form has not deterred a number of Premier League clubs from being interested in taking him on if the potential for a move opens up in the coming transfer windows.

The reports claim that both Arsenal and Chelsea remain interested in the 23-year-old Vlahovic, and have been since he was still playing in Tuscany.

Arsenal in particular would be keen on bringing him to North London as they go in search of another striker to add to their ranks to support Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah.

However, as per the reports in Italy, nobody would be prepared to offer Juventus the full €80 million they paid for Vlahovic less than two years ago, and the Bianconeri are unwilling to drop their asking price much lower than that for fear of making a significant loss on their investment.

Calciomercato believes that Vlahovic’s future depends on his form in the final stages of the 2022-23 season.

If he is able to chip in with a significant contribution before the end of the season, he could either relaunch his Juventus career heading into the new campaign in the summer, or he might tempt foreign investors into paying Juventus closer to the fee they desire.
