Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has refused to rule out Antonio Cassano, Giuseppe Rossi, Francesco Totti or Antonio Di Natale for Euro 2012 selection.

The Azzurri CT has just months to finalise his plans for the summer tournament and he’s keeping his options open.

Prandelli had designed a side spearheaded by Cassano and Rossi in attack, but both have had fitness issues to deal with.

The Villarreal striker underwent knee surgery in the autumn, while the Milan man was forced to have minor heart surgery.

“Rossi is recovering,” the tactician told Sky Sport Italia. “We’ll wait until the very last moment to have him back. It’s the same for Cassano.”

Udinese hitman Di Natale is expected to be recalled to the squad for this month’s friendly with America, while there is talk that Roma talisman Totti could also re-enter the frame.

“At the end of the championship we’ll have a look and evaluate which players have had a certain kind of consistency,” the tactician explained.

“Is there a possibility that we can see Totti and Di Natale? Yes, absolutely.”

The former Fiorentina man, who replaced Marcello Lippi in 2010, was also asked about Daniele De Rossi’s decision to sign a new contract at Roma.

“I compliment him for the choice he has made,” Prandelli continued. “De Rossi has always demonstrated great attachment to the Italy shirt.”
