Ruud Gullit has joked that the stress of the title race could see Juventus boss Antonio Conte lose his hair – for a second time.

Conte, a former midfielder with Juventus and the Italian national side, famously had a hair transplant during his 30s.

“Conte has to take care now,” Gullit, the former Milan and Dutch international, told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“The stress of it all could see his hair fall out again – even if it will be more difficult for him next season.”

Conte replaced Luigi Del Neri on the Juve hotseat in the summer and his side are unbeaten at the top of Serie A, one point ahead of Milan and with a game in hand.

“I think Juventus are better placed to win the Scudetto even if Milan still remain a great team,” Gullit continued.

“The new stadium at Juventus has created great enthusiasm. The antiquated stadiums in Italy condemn Serie A to stay behind Germany and England.”
