Former Roma and Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade will reportedly be named Sampdoria’s new general manager in the next few days.

According to Secolo XIX, Prade has already spoken to Samp sporting director Carlo Osti, although his arrival will not threaten that of the latter.

The 49-year-old, who has also been linked with Milan, could then be promoted to President Massimo Ferrero’s right-hand man if club lawyer Antonio Romei becomes the Lega Nazionale’s next chief in November.
