Former Inter boss Leonardo is reportedly among a three-man shortlist to replace Frank de Boer if the Coach is relieved of his duties.
According to Rai Sport, De Boer finds himself under pressure again after Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Cagliari at home, although the issue is second to whether Mauro Icardi is stripped of his captaincy.
Leonardo managed Inter for the second half of the 2010-11 campaign and led the club to Coppa Italia glory but stepped down the following summer as he subsequently moved into sports management with Paris Saint-Germain.
