Roma could send Cengiz Under to Sassuolo in January in exchange for Matteo Politano, who grew up in the Giallorossi youth system.
According to Calciomercato.com, the two clubs are in negotiations to swap the players in six-month loan deals.
Politano would be reunited with Coach Eusebio Di Francesco and former Sassuolo teammates Lorenzo Pellegrini and Gregoire Defrel.
It’d also be a homecoming, as the winger came up through the Roma youth academy.
