Miralem Pjanic’s hopes for a return to Juventus now depend on Aaron Ramsey, although there are also reports of Roma interest in the Barcelona outcast.

Multiple sources are confident a deal has finally been done for Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli, who can have his Juve medical tomorrow morning.

It’ll be a two-season loan with obligation to buy in 2023 for €35m, with the Neroverdi also reportedly retaining a percentage of the sell-on fee.

That makes it very unlikely that Juve will also bring in Pjanic, unless of course a midfielder like Ramsey is able to move on.

The concern is that the Welshman’s huge salary is putting other clubs off.

There is now another alternative for Pjanic, who has been told he has no place in Ronald Koeman’s Barcelona.

Tuttomercatoweb suggest that Jose Mourinho’s Roma are interested in the Bosnia international and director of sport Tiago Pinto asked for information.

This too would be a comeback for the 31-year-old, who wore the Giallorossi jersey from 2011 to 2016.

  1. Big karma for a rubbish ego that’s proven to be an average performer and non-fair player than anything else. No brainer choice is Locatelli.
