Roma’s Miralem Pjanic says he decided to stay at the club because he wants to win the Scudetto.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international, who represented his country at this summer’s World Cup, added that though he has received a lot of offers to move elsewhere, the presence at the club of Coach Rudi Garcia was another big factor in keeping him at Stadio Olimpico.

“I received a lot of offers, this summer too, but I decided to stay at Roma because I want to win the Scudetto,” Pjanic told Sport.ba.

“And because we have a Coach like Garcia, with whom I have an excellent relationship and who has the same vision of football as me.”

Pjanic also commented on the Giallorossi’s chances in this season’s Champions League.

“Champions League? Let’s see who we get in the draw, we are in the fourth pot and it will not be easy. Our aim is to overcome it.”
