“I am very happy to be at Genoa,” Pinilla told reporters. “I have been welcomed as if I have been here for many years.

“I know that I can do very well, I am a central striker but I am ready to carry out anything the boss asks of me.

“I will do my best to get a starting place and be one of the most important players in the League.

“Genoa’s interest was strong. The charm and history of the club also convinced me.

“Scoring in the derby? If I’m here it’s because that’s what I’m expecting, as well as much more.”
