Miralem Pjanic denies reports Juventus argued at half-time in the Champions League final – “none of it is true”.

It was reported that Leonardo Bonucci had argued with both Paulo Dybala and Andrea Barzagli, a rumour given more credence as the centre-back was sold to Milan.

“I’ve read everything, none of it is true,” Pjanic insisted, speaking to Sky.

“I hope they stop talking about it because nothing happened except [Coach Max] Allegri’s team talk, and we’ll be back for the Champions League this year.

“I hope they stop talking about it because nothing happened except [Coach Max] Allegri’s team talk, and we’ll be back for the Champions League this year.

“We lost the game against a very strong opponent [Real Madrid] who proved to be better than us.

“Bonucci? Leo had been here for many years, he knew the club well and he knew how Juve works. He chose to leave, just as every year players choose to come or go.

“It’s his choice, we wish him good luck. We’ll start again with the players we have and those who will arrive, very motivated.

“It won’t be easy to reach all our objectives, but Juve have always been able to start again.

“Last season is forgotten, we had a great season, but not exceptional because in the end we didn’t win the Champions League.

“Every league season is getting more and more complicated, there isn’t only Juve. I see Milan, Roma, Napoli and Inter in the fight for the Scudetto.

“We have the right consistency to win again. That ambition gives us great motivation.”
