Juve stand on the verge of lifting a seventh straight Scudetto this weekend, but not without Napoli pushing them all the way, while Allegri has been linked with the imminent vacancy at Arsenal.

“Higuain a substitute on Wednesday? For me, he’s the best striker in Italy,” the midfielder told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“After that, there are some choices to make and obviously the Coach thought it was best: he’s the boss and he decides. Will Allegri stay? I don’t know, ask him.

“All I can say is that he’s made us grow and win more. That aside, sometimes strange things happen in football and you never know.

“Allegri is good enough to understand what is the best choice for his future. I’d like him to stay because I feel good with him and he’s made me grow.

“After that, the discussions about the future belong to him and the club. I can only compliment him for being one of the most successful Coaches in Juventus’ history.

“Poison coming from outside? What are we talking about, Inter? Does only one game decide a season for you?

“If Napoli had beaten Milan, they’d have been in the lead and everything would have been dependent on them.

“We did well to stay up there, and we’re convinced that we’re the best team. I’m sorry about all this talk, but it’s nothing compared to what we are doing and the commitment we’re putting in.

“The important thing is that we keep lifting trophies: we’ve earned ours on the field.”
