Roma’s Miralem Pjanic says the Scudetto winner ‘will be the most consistent’ and that his side ‘lack something in the Champions League.’

The Bosnian has been one of the Giallorossi’s standout players so far this season and the Lupi currently occupy third place in Serie A, one point from the lead.

Despite a promising start to the season, Pjanic urged his teammates to become more reliable on a regular basis.

The Bosnian has been one of the Giallorossi’s standout players so far this season and the Lupi currently occupy third place in Serie A, one point from the lead.

Despite a promising start to the season, Pjanic urged his teammates to become more reliable on a regular basis.

"We must find consistency,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“In the league we could have had a few more points: we didn’t deserve to lose in Genoa and Milan.

“We expect an important cycle before Christmas: we must enter 2015 in as high a position as possible.

“In the Champions League we always lack something at the end of the match. We make life difficult for ourselves.

“It's the best league season in recent years, open to the end. The winner will be the most consistent.

Napoli? Sarri is doing really well. He has managed to improve Benitez’s Napoli. Their strength is Higuain – he’s one of the most decisive players in Serie A.

Fiorentina have made a good impression on me.

“We shouldn’t have lost against Inter. They haven’t caught people’s eye so far, but they beat us. And that means they have substance.

"I'm fine physically and that helps me. I trained during the holidays in order to overcome the ankle problem that had forced me to play through pain last season.

“I am proud to be here. I feel good here, winning something would make everything perfect.”
