“I feel the same as any other game, concentration, focus, trying to prepare a difficult match,” Pioli told DAZN.
The coach was asked if his decision to use Krunic rather than Brahim Diaz or even Franck Kessie in the trequartista role behind centre-forward Olivier Giroud was an attempt to make Milan’s forward line more physical.
“Krunic doesn’t just have physicality, he can time his runs into the box really well, so can be very useful in games like this.
“All those in the squad have minutes in their legs and motivation, so they can all be called upon.”
