Lazio team manager Angelo Peruzzi has warned his club that Milan are not “a small team” ahead of Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final.

The tie is finely poised at 0-0 from the first leg at Milan, but despite Lazio seemingly having the advantage, Peruzzi made it clear the Aquile had their work cut out.

“Lazio-Juventus? When you stop playing, you no longer have much of a feeling for your exes. I’m only thinking about Lazio,” the former Italy goalkeeper told LaLazioSiamoNoi.it.

“Lazio-Juventus? When you stop playing, you no longer have much of a feeling for your exes. I’m only thinking about Lazio,” the former Italy goalkeeper told LaLazioSiamoNoi.it.

“Anything’s possible, there are still so many matches left to play, many of them direct confrontations.

“We’ll try to go as far as possible on all fronts. After that, we’ll see where we finish. Predictions on how we’ll fare? I don’t like making predictions, we’ll see game by game.

“We expect a very important match on Wednesday. Milan are in form and it won’t be easy.

“They have important players, they’re not a small team. They’ve spent a lot, but they already had excellent players. Still, we can reach the Final.”
