Ex-Roma and Azzurri midfielder Simone Perrotta has spoken about the current state of play in Serie A.
The 39-year-old praised Montella’s Milan and discussed Roma’s improvement since Rudi Garcia was replaced by Luciano Spalletti mid-way through last season.
"This young Italian Milan side really are a pleasant surprise. They were not among the favorites and Montella is doing a really good job.

"It is an exaggeration to think however, that Saturday’s game with Juventus will be a challenge for the Scudetto because they are two completely different teams"
"The team that can challenge Juve? On paper I would say Roma. Against Napoli they gave a demonstration of strength and compactness with a great performance.
“I like the double solution in the middle with [Daniele] De Rossi and [Leandro] Paredes.
"Last year, the Giallorossi were poor in the first half of the season, then with Spalletti things have changed and now there is continuity and they are playing good football."
