After Juventus completed the capture of Gonzalo Higuain, the winger was asked about the objectives for the season, and is focused on Europe first and foremost.

“Juventus were already strong before,” Perotti pointed out in an interview with Roma TV.

“A strong squad like that fires you up, I’m just thinking about my team which is strong too. We also have a Champions League match, which is the most important of the season.

“We want to get started, it’s not far away and we have to be ready. It’ll be a long season. We need to have a good pre-season, because it’ll be physically draining.

“We need to have a good pre-season training camp. It’s a season where we want to play a lot, and we want to do as well as possible.

“To do that we have to prepare well.”
