Maurizio Sarri must cope without Ciro Immobile when Lazio face Juventus after the international break and could give Pedro a chance as a centre-forward.

The tactician has been given a difficult situation to resolve ahead of the big game in Serie A, as he prepares to face Juventus for the first time since leaving the club after 2019-20.

Sarri helped the Old Lady win the Scudetto, before Inter surpassed the Bianconeri in 2020-21 under Antonio Conte.

But the Aquile coach must face Juventus without star striker Immobile, who had to pull out of the Italy squad due to a calf injury this week.

Il Messaggero believes Sarri studies the possibilities in attack when Massimiliano Allegri’s men arrive at the Olimpico on November 20.

Pedro, who joined Lazio on a free transfer from Roma over the summer, could be given the nod to replace the centre-forward.

The 34-year-old has scored four goals in 12 league games with the Biancocelesti and seems like the most likely option fill the void after Immobile, who has scored 10 times in Serie A this season.
