Genoa striker Alberto Paloschi is relishing the opportunity to captain the Italy Under-21s against Sweden.

The 21-year-old has really struggled with injury this season, scoring just twice in nine appearances in Serie A.

"I am happy," Paloschi said. "Ciro Ferrara called me as soon as he became Coach to know how I was.

"We have to win because the Under-21s have a great tradition.

"The Genoa fans expected more. Now we are safe, then we can entertain and try to make them happy.
