However, the broadcaster believes that the 25-year-old has so far rejected Sampdoria’s approaches out of a willingness to evaluate what other offers may come through.

It is believed that a number of clubs have taken note of Okaka’s emergence and, whilst his current deal expires in 2016, failure to sign a renewal by next summer would most likely see him placed on the market.
