Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli has recovered from COVID and will return to group training tomorrow.
The Rossoneri captain had missed the last two Serie A games but is now ready to return to action.
“AC Milan announces that Alessio Romagnoli has tested negative for Covid-19. Alessio has recovered and will be at the technical staff’s disposal from tomorrow,” a club statement read.
Milan host Spezia at San Siro today, but Romagnoli won’t be part of the team.
He will likely start against Juventus next week as the Rossoneri are without the injured Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori.
Romagnoli, 27, has one goal in 18 appearances this term and his contract runs out this coming June.

Well, some small bit of good news. At least the CB pairing to face Juve and Inter will be Romagnoli-Kalulu, not Gabbia-Kalulu.
He’s gonna have an extremely important month in front of him. Let’s see if he can lead Milan through thieve important matches as the captain. Luckily he’s played better than recent years in this season.
He will be hit by a falling anvil before he gets to play. This is the Milan way.
