Juventus say Dybala’s conditions will be monitored ‘day by day’ after that tests undergone this morning ruled out muscle injuries.

The Argentinean forward was replaced after just 12 minutes in Venezia-Juventus on Saturday.

He underwent medical examinations on Monday morning and the tests undergone at the J Medical ruled out muscle injuries.

“The tests that Paulo Dybala underwent today at J|Medical excluded muscle injuries, and therefore, his condition will be monitored daily,” Juventus’ official statement reads.

Dybala injury record worries Juventus

According to several reports in Italy, Dybala will miss the next two games against Bologna and Cagliari, the last two matches of 2021.

The Argentinean should return to action in 2022. The Bianconeri will start the new year with two key matches.

The first one is at home against Napoli, while the second one is the Italian SuperCup Final against Simone Inzaghi’s Inter.

Dybala is Juventus’ best scorer this season with eight goals in 17 appearances across all competitions.

However, he has already missed seven games due to injuries this season.

Dybala is expected to sign a contract extension with the Bianconeri over the next few weeks. His current deal at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2022.

  1. This Guy need to be sold , He is injury prone , His is very soft guy to play in high level , Juve can’t rely on him in coming years , He is the worst no 10 I remember since started following Juve , No 10 should be given to someone who is going to be a legend of the Club, I would rather prefer Tevez short stint wearing no 10 shirt and shine .

  2. Good player and happy for him to sign a new contract but for HALF the reported amount.
If he doesnt like it then I wont lose any sleep.

Not in the same league as those before him.

  3. Juve is broke and under investigation for financial issues. Plenty of other teams are interested.

  4. Agree with earlier comment. Carlitos did so much more for us in 1/4 of the time as Dybala.

Dybala should indeed be re-signed but he cannot be the focal point in attack. We will need Vlahovic and a tre-quartista to hold us over until Rovella joins us next year.

McKinnie ain’t it. Arthur ain’t it and on top of that has the nerve to be late to training.

Rabiot says he is being played out of position on the wings. Try him.

  5. Jueventus have shown in recent years that they dont have that much money for paying wages. Parasites like Rabiot and especially Ramsey have come for free but sucked money out of the clubs wage fund.
Dybala is obvously a much better player than those guys, but if he is injured all the time what good is he?
And even when he is fit, I am still waiting for the day when he scores really does something in the champions league that makes me think. this guy is world class and should get the Balon Dor. As the years pass, that becomes less and less likely.
Just seems like a huge gamble to completely build Juventus around an injury prone guy that hasn’t won the CL, hasn’t done much for Argentina. I would sooner build the team around Chiesa
