The club will surely benefit from what they’ve done over the years, best of luck to them in the world of football.”

De Sanctis, a former Roma and Napoli goalkeeper, said: “I thank the President and everyone at Salernitana for this year and a half we spent together. I am proud to have contributed to the best Serie A season in the history of Salernitana and I want to thank the staff for helping and supporting me in developing the Salernitana brand. I will forever be tied to this club and their amazing fans and I wish them to earn survival.”
