Ismael Bennacer returns to Milan‘s starting XI against strugglers Salernitana, coached by Rossoneri legend Filippo Inzaghi.

It kicks off at 19:45 GMT at the Stadio Arechi.

Salernitana are desperate for the three points as they sit rock bottom of the Serie A table with just eight points in 16 matches.

They are without the injured Guillermo Ochoa and the suspended Giulio Maggiore. Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi is favourite over Loum Tchaouna in attack where he is expected to join Antonio Candreva and Boulaye Dia.

Milan are still dealing with several injuries, but Bennacer will return to the starting XI for the first time since suffering an ACL injury in May.

Captain Davide Calabria returns after missing the previous game against Monza due to a suspension, while Tommaso Pobega and Noah Okafor sustained injuries this past Sunday and haven’t travelled with the team to Salerno.

New club director Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be in the stands at the Arechi tonight.
