Another Scotland international has come to Serie A, as Jack Hendry moved from Club Brugge to Cremonese.

The transfer is on loan at a cost of €600,000 with an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €6m.

The 28-year-old has 17 senior caps under his belt for Scotland, in which he scored two goals, despite playing as a centre-back.

Hendry is already well-travelled in his career, playing for the likes of Celtic, Wigan, Partick Thistle, Shrewsbury, MK Dons, Dundee FC, Melbourne City, KV Oostende and went to Club Brugge last summer.

There is a growing trend of Scottish players finding their home in Serie A, including Lewis Ferguson to Bologna after Aaron Hickey left for Brentford, Liam Henderson at Empoli and Josh Doig at Hellas Verona.

Cremonese are in their first Serie A campaign for over 20 years and have suffered four consecutive defeats so far this season.
