Milan’s Christian Abbiati has announced his retirement, with tomorrow’s game against Roma his last.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper has been with the Rossoneri since 2008, making 374 appearances, as well as having loan spells at Torino, Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
Having been displaced by first Diego Lopez and then Gianluigi Donnarumma, multiple reports stated that the veteran will hang up his gloves after tomorrow’s game at San Siro.

The club's official television channel confirmed the news, writing "tomorrow we salute the great Abbia" on the Milan Channel Twitter page.
"After the final whistle, Abbiati will salute the fans. After 15 years at Milan, he says goodbye to football."
Abbiati has won three Scudetti in his time with the Diavolo, as well a Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
The goalkeeper was also capped four times by Italy, but would almost certainly have had more were it not for the presence of Francesco Toldo and, in particular, Gianluigi Buffon.
