“Manaj is not in the squad list because of disciplinary reasons. I won’t get into the details,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

The young Albanian forward is on loan from Inter, but it’s certainly not the first time he has got into trouble for training ground incidents and a bad attitude.

“From now on those who aren’t working in the same direction can just stay home. I will rely on those who give their all. Only those who want to give their all will face Roma tomorrow.

“I’d prefer to bring along a kid from the youth team than someone who doesn’t know how to behave. If you behave and believe in the cause, then you will be called up.

“That is the situation today, then if Manaj learns how to behave, he will have another chance.”

Midfielder Alessandro Bruno is added to the injury list with a muscular problem, while Valerio Verre is not 100 per cent fit either and Alberto Aquilani left at home suffering from flu symptoms.

The good news for Oddo is that Jean-Christophe Bahebeck is fully fit and ready to start.

“I thought the attitude against Juventus was positive. I don’t know what people complained about. I understand disappointment at our results so far and criticism is right, but we did what we had prepared against Juve.

“We’ve not been lucky at all this season. We must have the strength and speed to ensure opponents don’t go on the counter-attack. We worked a great deal on that during the week.

“The move to three at the back is not a definitive solution, but for now it seems to me the best idea.”

Will it be a special match for Oddo considering his past as a Lazio player?

“It means nothing to me. I am thinking of anything except my past right now, as Pescara are what matter.”
