President Erick Thohir says Roberto Mancini is ‘a great Coach’ as he casts an eye over Inter’s recent performances.
Mancini's return on the Inter bench has been met with a mixed response, as the Coach started out with difficult games against Milan, Dnipro and Roma.
Nonetheless his President is optimistic and declares that he is satisfied with the 50-year-old’s performance so far.
“I think the first three games were good,” Thohir has told ESPN Deportes.

“I think the first three games were good,” Thohir has told ESPN Deportes.
“Against Milan we had a draw, among other things because Milan is not a bad team.
“We won against Dnipro even though we were playing 10 versus 11.
“Against Roma we came back twice, but we were short of something to keep on reacting.
“Though it must be said that against a great team like Roma it's hard to react – along with Juventus, they represent the top of Serie A.”
Thohir went on to discuss Inter's prospects as a whole and explained that having a new Coach will make a substantial difference.
“I think now we stand a better chance. Mancini has a nice background, with international experience.
“I think he's a great Coach. We signed him so we could improve.
“I'm not the kind of President who is happy to switch Coaches mid-season, but sometimes you must make difficult decisions.
“It was a decision taken along with the whole management, including [Massimo] Moratti.
“The target is still the same, by which I mean qualifying for Europe.”
Inter currently sit joint-11th with Palermo in Serie A, but are only six points away from the third place.”
