Inter transfer chief Marco Branca says he isn’t questioning his club’s decision to show Giampaolo Pazzini the door.

The Italian left the Nerazzurri last month by joining Milan in a swap deal which saw Antonio Cassano go in the other direction.

After just five League goals for the Beneamata last season, Pazzini grabbed a hat-trick in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Bologna for his new side.

“There is no regret about selling Pazzini,” director Branca noted. “Not even after his treble at the weekend.

“We as a club made a decision and so too did Milan. Actually, I’m happy that he is doing what he is capable of.”

Pazzini was shown the door after boss Andrea Stramaccioni made it clear that Diego Milito was his first choice striker and that the two men could not co-exist in the same side.
