Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini says the club have yet to decide what to do during the January transfer session.

“We’re not thinking about new signings,” Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia. “We’ll meet with boss Rudi Garcia during the Christmas break.

“We’ll evaluate a number of situations and then we’ll think about how we should move.

“Our monitoring of players is continuous and it would be nice to sign players of an excellent level, but there are a number of aspects that we have to look at.”

The capital giants started the season with a record 10 straight wins, but they have drawn their last three which has allowed Juventus to take leadership in Serie A.

“There is a bit of disappointment, but not amongst the directors,” Sabatini continued. “We would have lost a game like Monday’s against Cagliari last season…

“You need to accept these results because Cagliari are a competitive side who can hit you in a number of ways.”

Roma have recently been linked with a loan swoop for Paris Saint-Germain’s Javier Pastore.
