With such Serie A teams as Milan and Roma rumoured to be looking for a new Coach, and with some conjecturing that even Juventus' Max Allegri could move on, it was only natural that Mourinho should be linked to Italy.

But his manager Jorge Mendes, speaking out at the Globe Soccer Awards, denied any move was being planned at all.
“Jose is in Brazil now, we'll see what happens when he comes back,” he said, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio.
“A return to Italy? For the moment there are no talks for England, nor for Spain, nor for Italy.
“He just has to stay calm and not worry about anything, because he's the best Coach in the world.”
