The Belgian international scored the crucial second goal in yesterday’s 2-0 win, and spoke to Roma Radio about the match.
“My goal? [Federico] Marchetti saw it late because [Stefan] Radu was blocking him,” Nainggolan explained, echoing his Gazzetta dello Sport interview.

“It’s important for me to score. The truth is that it was exciting, but it would have been better with a full Curva [Sud].
“It gave us an extra boost to play in a stadium which was full of Laziali. We knew it would be difficult.
“The competitive edge we brought was crucial and helped us to the victory. The derby gives you a different motivation.
“Looking at the chances, Pescara put us in more difficulty than Lazio did. They’re different games though.
“Even Milan struggled against Crotone, these games are more difficult than you’d expect.”
