It was reported this morning that he could be charged under section 11 of the FIGC code, which would bring a suspension of up to 10 weeks.
Now Sky is reporting that the federal prosecutor’s office, led by Giuseppe Pecoraro, has opened a file on the incident.
The investigation will be based on the work of prosecutors, who were “able to see everything”, the news outlet reports.
