Roma may have suffered another injury blow for Thursday’s Serie A match against Chievo as Radja Nainggolan is struggling with muscle oedema.
It is not known how Nainggolan sustained the injury, the midfielder having come through Roma’s 1-0 defeat to Juventus on Saturday unscathed, although the club’s official website reported he was “complaining of tightness” in the area of his right calf.

“Radja Nainggolan went through tests today that showed a strain in the soleus muscle of his right leg, with evidence of muscle oedema,” a medical report read.
“The Belgian midfielder’s condition will be monitored on a daily basis.”
