However, they could face competition from Juventus, and the Giallorossi midfielder is believed to be on their shortlist if Paul Pogba leaves.
Nainggolan would be a controversial signing for the Bianconeri, however, having been involved in numerous Twitter spats with fans of the Old Lady.
In addition, the former Cagliari midfielder has declared that it would be better to win one trophy in Rome than 10 in Turin.
That may not rule out a transfer altogether though, as Juve signed goalkeeper Neto this summer, despite his previous claim that he'd never move to the Bianconeri.
