The Derby d’Italia was meant to be played on Sunday behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus outbreak, but it was announced this morning that it had been postponed to May 13 along with Milan-Genoa, Udinese-Fiorentina, Parma-SPAL and Sassuolo-Brescia.

“What a fantastic campaign, now we hope on May 13 it’ll be a Scudetto Final,” Moratti told Radio Deejay.

“It’s incredible that they just postponed everything, though. It’s only right to be prudent and slow down sporting activity for the public health.”

The change of schedule means Inter will play Juventus on May 13, Napoli on May 17 and Atalanta on May 24.

The Coppa Italia Final has also been shifted from May 13 to May 20, with both Juventus and Inter in the semi-finals against Milan and Napoli respectively.

There is also the matter of Inter-Sampdoria, which was called off last week due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the rescheduled date for that is yet to be confirmed.

If Inter go all the way in the Coppa Italia and/or the Europa League, their fixture list in the final weeks will be like a game of Tetris.
