Multiple Serie A clubs are fighting for Filippo Ranocchia’s signature this summer but Monza now reportedly have the best shot of picking up the Juventus talent.

The 21-year-old Italian midfielder has returned to Turin following a very positive loan spell with Vicenza, and now a number of clubs in the topflight are looking to secure his services. Ranocchia proved himself to be an exciting midfielder with heaps of potential and Juventus are managing his development carefully.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Monza have emerged in the race to sign Ranocchia and are now a step in front of their competition. Next week the two clubs will meet to define the terms of a deal and the current indications are that it’ll be a loan deal with a buy option attached, accompanied by a buy-back clause.

Once an agreement between the clubs is found, Monza will meet with Ranocchia’s agents to agree personal terms. They’re hoping to finalise a deal within the next few days, beating out the other interested clubs like Hellas Verona, Sampdoria, Torino and Salernitana.

  1. Monza signings do look to make them competitive. Looking forward to seeing then this season.

Getting a good deal of reasonably priced Serie A talent most with a point to prove. A lot of overhaul in a short space so will see if they can gel but should be entertaining.

  2. Berlusconi and Uncle Fester are OG’s and pros at what they have done in the past. It is little surprise that they’re building up nicely. Heck they have had a busier transfer window as opposed to the mighty Turin giants.
