Paris Saint-Germain have made it clear to Sassuolo that Gianluca Scamacca’s price tag must be lowered if they want to agree a deal or they’ll focus on other targets.

The 23-year-old Italian striker exploded onto the scene last season under Alessio Dionisi, scoring 16 goals in 36 Serie A appearances. A number of clubs emerged for him as the summer transfer window approached, but Sassuolo’s high demands saw most focus on other targets.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, next week will be a decisive one for Scamacca as PSG have told Sassuolo to lower their €50m price tag on the player if they want to agree deal, or else they’ll focus on Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos instead.

West Ham have been in contact with Scamacca’s entourage but they’re seemingly focusing on picking up Chelsea’s Armando Broja at this stage. They could return will full force if the French giants move away, however.
