Riccardo Montolivo has warned his Fiorentina teammates that Napoli, Saturday's opponents, are not a one-man team. "We shouldn't just fear Edinson Cavani."

The Uruguayan has been a sensation at the San Paolo this season and scored a hat-trick of headers last Sunday against Juventus.

"We have to look to limit Cavani who is proving himself to be an extraordinary player, but we shouldn't just fear him," said the midfielder.

"We have to look to limit Cavani who is proving himself to be an extraordinary player, but we shouldn't just fear him," said the midfielder.

The Azzurri are currently second in Serie A, four points behind Milan, and have been heralded as the new Fiorentina after the Viola penetrated the top-four for a while over the last five years.

"Yes, Napoli could be the new us," admitted the club captain.

"However, the difficult thing is not getting to such a high level but remaining there for a significant period of time."

While Napoli are flying high, the Viola are 12th and only five points above the drop zone – although they do have a game in hand over most other teams around them.
