Sevilla director of sport Monchi announced former Roma Coach Eusebio Di Francesco “will not come here” after reports of a reunion.

Monchi quit Roma in protest after the club sacked Di Francesco in February, bringing in caretaker manager Claudio Ranieri.

There were multiple suggestions the tactician was in negotiations to take on the Sevilla bench for next season.

“With regards to Di Francesco, he will not come here,” Monchi told Estadio Deportivo at an event leading up to the Copa del Rey.
