Andrea Belotti still seems unlikely to sign a contract renewal with Torino and now Monaco have registered interest in him.

The 28-year-old Italian striker seems set to leave the Granata after seven years at the end of this month, ready to finally make the move to a top club, something he seemed destined for a few years ago.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Monaco have now set their sights on Belotti and are keen on picking him up on a free transfer this summer. They’ll have to fight off the competition from Napoli, Roma, Milan, Valencia and Newcastle United to secure his signature, however.

The Italian striker proved his mettle with Torino over the last seven years, netting 113 goals and providing 28 assists in 251 appearances across all competitions.

He’s often been linked with a move to a top Italian club over the years, so it would come as a surprise if he decided to move abroad this summer.
