The final weekend of Serie A could be a dramatic one, with Inter at Lazio, Milan vs Fiorentina and Gigi Buffon's last game.

The Scudetto race is being tipped as one of the closest in years, with the Milan clubs, Juventus, Napoli and Roma all realistically in with a shot at the title.

While a five-way fight for the Scudetto wouldn’t realistically go down to the final game, there could still be several clubs involved in the battle to be crowned Serie A champion, and Week 38 looks like being a momentous one.

Luciano Spalletti’s Inter travel to face Lazio at Stadio Olimpico – the fixture in which they famously lost the Scudetto in 2002.

Meanwhile, their city rivals welcome Fiorentina to San Siro, a difficult game which could impact the title, European qualification or both.

Roma face Sassuolo at Mapei Stadium, Eusebio Di Francesco’s first match their since leaving the Neroverdi this summer, while Napoli welcome Crotone to San Paolo.

Up in Turin, Juventus will face off against Verona, who may very well need a result to ensure their Serie A safety.

The match will almost certainly be Gianluigi Buffon’s final game for the club, as he plans to retire after the 2018 World Cup.

If all of the matches affect each other, they will be played at the same time, 14.00 UK time on Sunday May 20.
