Milan will not buy anyone in January, unless any of the current squad depart San Siro, Adriano Galliani reveals.

The Rossoneri Vice-President spoke to journalists as he arrived at the Lega Serie A headquarters, and warned Diavolo fans not to expect arrivals in the upcoming transfer window.

“We have 28 players, if no-one leaves we can’t bring anyone in,” Galliani told assembled media.

“We’re only competing in the League and the Coppa Italia. We’ll be missing Honda in January [for the 2015 Asian Cup] but we’ll replace him with players we already have.

“We’re not going to bring anyone in from outside.

“It’s a pity because he [Honda] will leave after the Roma game, and if Japan make the final he won’t be back until February.”

Galliani also denied reports that the club would seek to sell striker Giampaolo Pazzini, who has barely featured in Filippo Inzaghi’s team this season, echoing yesterday's line from Milan Channel.

“I don’t know about [Pazzini]. You’d be better asking Inzaghi.

“Pazzini has never asked to leave and we’ve never wanted to sell him.”
