The final details of Alessandro Florenzi’s move to Milan are being worked out, on loan with option to buy for €6-7m from Roma, although there are some extra clauses.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the agreement has been reached between the two clubs.

It will be a loan with option to buy for €6-7m, although if certain conditions are met, then that option will become an obligation to make the transfer permanent.

Florenzi has already locked down personal terms with the Rossoneri, with agent Alessandro Lucci confident it can all be completed by the end of this week.

He will earn circa €3m net per season until June 2023.

It would be Florenzi’s third loan of the last three years, after Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain.

Milan see him as a versatile figure for coach Stefano Pioli, able to play as a right-back or in a more advanced right-wing attacking role.

He was in the Italy squad that won the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament, albeit missing much of it through injury.
