The Bayern Munich Coach won two Champions Leagues and the Scudetto in his time on the Rossoneri bench, and warns them to be careful on Sunday night.

“They have to be careful of Inter, they’re always difficult to deal with,” Ancelotti told derbyderbyderby.it.

“Then they’ve also changed their Coach beforehand. Going into the Juventus game, Inter weren’t playing well but they pulled out a good performance.

“Don’t forget that so far Inter have performed below their potential, while Milan have been at theirs, or perhaps even above it.”

Ancelotti was then asked for his memories of derbies during his time as the Diavolo boss.

“I feel like ‘my’ derby was the comeback, the 3-2 in the year we won the Scudetto. We were 2-0 down at half-time, I remember the decisive goal from [Clarence] Seedorf, our third, he scored with a real rocket past [Francesco] Toldo.

“That night really brought us great joy, but the derbies with the most pressure were the Semi-Finals of the Champions League in 2003.

“There were two draws in games that were on a knife-edge, and we qualified for the final in Manchester.”
