And although Lazio President Claudio Lotito has reportedly put a €120m price-tag on the Serbia international, the Diavolo are said to be planning an audacious move for the 23-year-old.

According to Sportmediaset, Milan could offer Lazio a deal with payments staggered over several years, including bonuses and incentives – with utility man Fabio Borini also included as part of the offer.

Meanwhile Juve are still monitoring Milinkovic-Savic’s situation, with the player having recently returned to pre-season training with the Biancocelesti.

The Old Lady could potentially meet Lotito’s asking price, but may have to sell Miralem Pjanic before any substantial offer can be made.

Milinkovic-Savic has also been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain during the course of the summer.
