Milan management will reportedly meet with Silvio Berlusconi on Wednesday to determine a possible plan of action for Roma’s Mattia Destro.

The Rossoneri have been linked in recent days with a bid for the Italy-capped striker, as strategy to replace the outgoing Mario Balotelli.

Whilst Chelsea have also been listed by Destro’s agent as interested, Milan are reportedly going to consider their position on Wednesday.

That is when Sky Sport Italia say President Silvio Berlusconi will meet with club officials to talk through a possible move for the 23-year-old.

The current situation, from a meeting held this weekend between Adriano Galliani and Walter Sabatini, is believed to be that Roma are asking for €25m for an outright sale, whilst Milan are hopeful of an initial loan deal with a purchase option of €17m included.

Berlusconi’s meeting is speculated as likely to determine one way or another a resolution to this stalemate.
